April 11, 2006 Forum ...

The Oklahoma Academy encourages you to attend
Out of the Past ~ Into the Future
Learning from our history to plan wisely for our futureTuesday, April 11, 2006
Oklahoma History Center and Museum Oklahoma City  8:30am – 3:30pm

The Oklahoma Academy is focusing the 2006 Information Forum on Oklahoma’s important historical accomplishments as well as the areas in which Oklahoma did not make the wisest decisions.
We want to learn from our successes and our mistakes!

This Forum will serve as the lead-in to the 2006 Academy Town Hall Conference that will focus on the critical issues that will allow us to build a better, more prosperous future for all Oklahomans.

Both the forum and the Town Hall will utilize five driving forces --- Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, and Political (STEEP) --- in examining the things we did exceptionally well and the things we did not do well.

Wisdom tells us we must recognize and learn from our past in order to build a strong future!  The forum will be a true “history lesson to learn from” as we envision Oklahoma’s next 100 years.
